Ministry of Education Launches “Hall of Honour” Recognising Teachers with Over 20 Years of Service

The Ministry of Education is proud to announce the launch of the Hall of Honour, a new initiative recognising teachers across the Cook Islands who have dedicated more than 20 years of service to educating our children and strengthening our communities.

This initiative honours the invaluable contribution of teachers who have shaped generations of Cook Islanders, guiding learning, fostering identity, and preserving the values and language that make our nation unique.

“These teachers represent the heart of our education system,” said Owen Lewis Secretary General of Education.

“The Hall of Honour celebrates their service, dedication, and love for teaching.”

We want to celebrate and showcase their on the Ministry of Education’s website under the new Hall of Honour section
